Wallace Bagpipes have been in negotiations with Ozscot Bagpipe Supplies and DNA pipe+drumline to better supply our Australasian customers.
In Australia supply and demand of pipe band equipment is becoming more difficult every year. The expense companies have to undergo to hold stock of large quantities of items is immense. However, we have overcome this problem and we are proud to announce that we will have in stock, all popular profiles of Wallace pipes for immediate dispatch to anywhere in the country for a single order, and for multiple orders of pipes we can dispatch within 20 working days.
This great service will be available from mid August 2009.
All prices will be standard across the country and every set will be tested by our experienced pipers and set up before dispatch.

Learner Piping Grade Winner - Ashleigh Civellio
With a large entry for Western Australia of over 35 competitors for each of the three rounds, and the largest ever entry for the Learner Piping Grade, it made for a very interesting aggregate final on the 2nd May with the top competitor winning a new set of Classic 2 Wallace Bagpipes.
The set of Bagpipes donated by Mr Craig Munro of Wallace Bagpipes was presented to Ms Ashleigh Civiello (pictured) as the Aggregate winner for Learner Piping after all three rounds. It was also great to have Craig Munro out from Scotland to present the pipes in person. Craig Judged the final round in learner and was very impressed by the standard of players in that grade.
Ashleigh is a student at the Presbyterian Ladies College Perth. Her piping instructor and family were there to witness the presentation on the night and also her fellow band members from the PLC Pipe Band that also competed in the same event. None of the competitors or supporters knew what grade the pipes were to be presented to, so it was a very nice surprise.
The full results of the 2009 Champion of Champions Solo Series will be available online at www.ozscot.com.au
Stay tuned for next years dates.
A very big thank you to WALLACE BAGPIPES for supporting this event. We look forward to next years final and seeing Craig out once again.

“The contest was played at a very high standard from all competitors. There was 66 piping performances and 62 from the drummers. This gave the crowd a fantastic days entertainment. This will be an annual event and we are hoping to build on the success of this year and take it forward from here on. We offer our thanks to all of the competitors and congratulate the prize winners on the day and hope to see all of them back next year. We are also indebted to all of our sponsors who kindly supported this event and those from the pipe band world, Craig Munro at Wallace Bagpipes, Greig Canning at the Piping Centre & Callum & Julie Firth from Alba Percussion for the prizes they donated for each event”
