Wallace Bagpipes main agent for Ireland Essey Musical held a packed promotion night entitled “Fine Tuned” at the Park Avenue Hotel, Belfast on Friday 27th February.

The night was free entry with top performances from pipers Craig Munro and Alistair Murray, a drumming demonstration from John Scullion and Field Marshal Montgomery’s Gareth McLees & Ross Bingham. The night also had a presentation of products from a range of suppliers and a performance by drumming group Light and Shade.

Congratulations to David & Kim on such a successful and well run event. Wallace Bagpipes hopes to be back again next year!

Some feedback the Essey Musical received below,

Kim/David,
A quick note to say well done for putting on a really enjoyable night! I had
to go at half time but really enjoyed John again after 12yrs.

I know there’s a lot of organising goes into an event as well as expense and
to do it in today’s climate takes courage as well.

I hope it helps strengthen your local footprint and helps grow your business
further afield.

Best wishes from all at Ravara,
Alan

Wallace Bagpipes and Pipers Corner Shop who are our sole agent for Europe was this years sponsors for the College of Piping Winter School in Bruggen 2009.

The week was once again a huge success with over 90 students attending the course.

The Monday evening was a true honour where all instructors were invited to dinner at Cheshire House the home of Maj General RAMS Melvin OBE commander of British Forces in Germany, and his wife Sigi. Both are great supporters of the Winter School.

Throughout the week both pupils and instructors were entertained each evening with various recitals, lectures and band performances.
